CPAP

CPAP works by providing a steady air pressure to keep the airway open during sleep.  Used as a treatment for obstructive sleep apnea, CPAP normalizes breathing by eliminating snoring, sleep disturbances, and drops in oxygen saturation.

BiPAP

BiPAP or bi-level positive airway pressure is a device used for patients who cannot tolerate the steady pressure of CPAP and for those patients with more complex breathing problems related to central sleep apnea, complex sleep apnea, and  COPD.
